Dr Cohen is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist who was proud to serve our veteran population for over 30 years before joining Hudson Mind. He is very much looking forward to applying his vast clinical experience to the newer modalities in psychiatry, specifically Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Esketamine (Spavato), that are offered at Hudson Mind.
He has a liberal arts background, having graduated from Vassar College. He then went onto New York University for both medical school and psychiatry residency. He had the honor of being selected to be one of the chief residents for the NYU residency.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his partner, his grown children, and his friends. Interests include travel, music – live and recorded, gardening, old , non-fiction, and sampling the vast array of dining options available in New York City. He is a native New Yorker, having resided in 4 of it’s 5 boroughs.
