Integrative Psychiatric Care
Comprehensive mental health plans tailored to you–not just your symptoms.
Hudson Mind Psychiatry
Our psychiatry practice focuses on both diagnosing and treating mental health conditions through a combined application of evidence-based pharmaceutical, psychotherapy, and holistically-oriented comprehensive lifestyle intervention.
The Hudson Process
For patients new to psychiatry, Hudson Mind enacts a comprehensive diagnostic process before developing personalized treatment plans, which may include:
Step 1: Clinical Intake Questionnaire
Prior to your initial evaluation, we will first have you fill out a clinical intake questionnaire which will ask you for information such as your symptoms, medical history and past/current medications. This will be required to complete before meeting with the psychiatrist.
Step 2: Clinical Evaluation
The evaluation is conducted to better understand the scope of current symptoms, considering medical, family, and trauma histories. During this appointment, the psychiatrist will be assessing the severity and duration of symptoms. Throughout the evaluation, industry-standard psychiatric scales and cognitive and emotional functioning tests may be utilized to hone in on a diagnosis and construct a treatment plan.
Step 3: Collaboration
Collaboration with previous or current mental health providers (as well as other parties involved in your mental health journey) may help our psychiatrist to ensure the ongoing treatment plan is as comprehensive as possible.
Personalized Treatment Through Integration
Integrative psychiatry supplements traditional pharmaceutical and psychotherapeutic care with a more holistic and personalized treatment course, designed to help you reestablish the power of present focus to not only improve mental health symptoms, but enhance your overall life.
This type of psychiatric care is a highly collaborative experience between patient and mental health provider. And just as no two patients are the same, no two treatment plans are the exact same.
Providers work alongside patients to design care plans that consider every aspect of a patient’s life—from their unique experience of symptoms to their health histories, current lifestyles, aspirations and future goals.
