Paula Lamanna, LCSW, CASAC (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker, credentialed alcoholism and substance use counselor, Level III EMDR provider, certified yoga teacher and certified psychedelic-assisted therapy provider. Paula received her master’s degree from New York University. She received her post-graduate certifications from The Integrative Psychiatry Institute and the Parnell Institute for EMDR.
Paula believes that each client is unique, and she works with them to determine the best treatment for them, integrating multiple therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, a proven trauma treatment, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Mindfulness, among others. Paula views her clients from a holistic perspective and supports them in exploring all aspects of their lives that may be contributing to their difficulties, mind, body and spirit. Paula specializes in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, psychedelic preparation and integration, trauma, substance use, disordered eating, anxiety, and depression. She approaches therapy from a collaborative, compassionate and non-judgmental perspective, incorporating laughter whenever possible. Paula embraces all aspects of her client’s identities and cultures and creates an environment in which they feel safe to explore, feel and express their emotions. In order to heal, we first need to feel accepted for who we are. Paula provides that acceptance to her clients to help them move forward into the life they aspire to have.
